Writing copy for websites is more complicated than most people realise. It is complicated because copy must be fresh and not plagiarized from the web since search engines can detect plagiarization. Copy (or content) must be cleverly interspersed with keywords which match with meta-tags used on that page or post and the copy must be relevant to the core business of the website. In addition copy must be well written.
